The Free Concerts truly are Volunteer Powered! Symphony In The Glen Free Concerts extends deep gratitude to:

• People In Progress (PIP) - helping since 1995
• Los Angeles JROTC - since 1996
• Pacific American Volunteer Association (PAVA) - PAVA joined the effort in 2006. We extend a big welcome to PAVA volunteers!
  

Great effort is made to notify the community of the availability of the free concerts. Prior each concert over 20,000 multilingual flyers are distributed through local elementary schools and the L.A. County Public Library System.

For every concert, an empty glade must be transformed into an outdoor concert hall. Site preparation begins at 6 AM. PEOPLE IN PROGRESS (PIP) volunteers are the first to arrive to help set up the site, install directional signs, and prepare the temporary stage (erected the day before).

PACIFIC AMERICAN VOLUNTEER ASSOCIATION (PAVA) volunteers help assemble and distribute concert programs, assist arriving audience members, help with the Child/Parent pre concert activities, and fill in where needed.

Then the LOS ANGELES JROTC cadets arrive to assist with parking and to direct concertgoers up to the concert site.

The free concerts would not be possible without the help of all of these fine volunteers.
