Led by film and television composer, Arthur B. Rubinstein, the Symphony In The Glen orchestra boasts 40 to 60 of Los Angeles' most gifted instrumentalists, most of whom perform regularly with many of the top orchestras in Los Angeles.

Although much of their professional activity is in the recording field, these instrumentalists are fine solo and chamber music players in their own right. Their cultural and professional backgrounds are as varied as the instruments upon which they perform, and the membership is nearly equally divided between women and men. These consummate professionals are paid at a rate set by an annual bargaining agreement between Symphony In The Glen and AFM Local 47 Professional Musicians Union.

From time to time, gifted young instrumentalists are invited to perform with the orchestra.
