Falling in love with classical music needn’t be a cultural chore. It can, and should, be a lifelong journey of discovery. The beauty of classical music is that you don’t need to “understand” it in order to be swept away on symphonic magic. This is especially true of listening to a symphony orchestra play outdoors. There is something special about it. All you need do is sit back and let the music wash over you.

The young are especially susceptible to the charms of live symphonic music, especially when the whole family is part of the flow. The powerful synergy of children, parents and grandparents experiencing classical music together is what we are about.

Our founder, Arthur B. Rubinstein holds that the best way to spark a lifelong love of classical music is to make live symphony concerts an integral part of family life. Impetus is impossible without opportunity. We simply present the opportunity – parents and children do the rest.
